Indoor air qualityyou can actually feel.
Dust, pollen, pet dander, excess humidity, and stale air affect how a home feels and how well you sleep. A lot of it comes down to filtration, ventilation, and humidity — three things we can measure and improve as part of your HVAC system.
- High-efficiency filtration options
- Humidity control for dry winters and humid summers
- Ventilation to bring fresh air in

Start with filtration
The standard one-inch filter in most homes catches large debris and protects the equipment, but it does very little for the particles you actually breathe. Upgrading to a higher-MERV media filter or an electronic air cleaner removes far more dust, pollen, and dander. One important note: higher filtration adds airflow resistance, so it needs to be matched to your system rather than simply swapped in.
Humidity matters more than most people realize
Central Washington winters are dry enough to cause cracked skin, static, and irritated airways, while summer humidity makes a house feel warmer than it is. Whole-home humidifiers and dehumidifiers work with your HVAC system to hold indoor humidity in a comfortable range year-round.
Ventilation and stale air
Modern homes are built tight, which is efficient but means indoor air gets recycled far longer than it should. Ventilation brings controlled fresh air into the house while exhausting stale air, diluting the pollutants that accumulate in a closed-up home. If your house smells stuffy even when it's clean, ventilation is usually the answer.
Questions we hearabout this service.
Will a better filter help with allergies?
For many people, yes. Higher-MERV filtration captures a large share of the pollen and dander that circulate through the house. It's not a cure, but it's one of the more effective steps you can take with your existing system.
Why is my house so dry in winter?
Heating cold, dry outdoor air drops your indoor humidity considerably. A whole-home humidifier integrated with your furnace keeps levels comfortable through the heating season. It's a common and straightforward addition.
Do air purifiers replace my HVAC filter?
No — they serve different purposes. A portable purifier cleans the air in one room, while your system's filter and any added air-cleaning equipment treat the whole house. For whole-home improvement, working with the HVAC system is usually more effective.
